BRIAN CROWNE

Crowne is a quite familiar face to the region’s music fans. A founding member of Oreo Blue, he has been a full-time touring musician for 18 years. But 3 years ago, he and partner Suzie Stephens purchased George’s Majestic Lounge and his life changed. “I made a commitment to this club and music lovers of this area to make George’s the premier live venue in the state.” Since he took ownership, George’s has seen a massive increase in the number of national touring acts making a stop at his small, historic club. Crowne’s attention to detail in all phases of music production and promotion are highly respected.

HAROLD WIETIES

Wieties is an equally well-recognized face on the Dickson Street music scene. His signature long gray hair has been seen in Chester’s, Dave’s on Dickson and now George’s for over 15 years. “Harold truly has a lot of respect from musicians and agents all over the country and is one of the real ‘good guys’ in this business”, Crowne explained. “His easy-going manner, honesty and personal attention to bands have won him a lot of friends and praise over the years.”
